Athletic Signings

Athletics Signings

Congratulations to you and your student athlete for their outstanding accomplishment of participating in athletics at the next level! We want to make their signing experience a memorable one.

Signing Dates 2024-2025

There are FOUR signing dates for 24-25, all closely coordinating with the NCAA National Letter of Intent signing dates, November 13, 2024; December 4, 2024; Feb. 5, 2025 and April 16, 2025. (April 16 signees will need to notify Athletic Office BEFORE SPRING BREAK!)

Please notify the Athletic Dept. you wish to participate in an Athletic Signing NO LATER than one full week prior to the dates above. If you miss a signing date, we will simply schedule you for the next available date.

Prior to Your Signing

Prior to the signing, you need to acquire all signing paperwork from your college as well as T-shirts for your family or tablecloth for the signing table. Tablecloths preferred over banners, please! If you do not have a college tablecloth, we will use our Hamilton Heights tablecloth. If your college can only provide a banner for you to use, please provide your own safety pins to attach to our tablecloth. Plan ahead!

Having college shirts that your athlete / family can wear for the pictures always looks great!

Signing Location, Picture Information, & Parking

Location for Signings

Signings will be in the HS Athletic Center North Atrium, or in the HS Gym, depending on the number of signings scheduled, starting at 2:40 PM. Multiple signings are possible! Each signing will be brief.

Pictures

Our photographer will take the following pictures:

  • One of the athlete signing documents
  • One of the athlete and coaches
  • One of the athlete and parents or immediate family
  • One teammate/friends photo.

ALL OTHER PICTURE POSES YOU DESIRE need to wait until after all signings have been completed, and attendees are dismissed. You can stay after and take as many pictures as you need with family cameras, etc.

Parking

Guests, please park in the north lot of HS and use Entrance H. The north doors will be unlocked at 2:20 PM. Please do not park in the drop off lane. Car-rider parents will be lining up by 2:10, so we need to keep this lane clear.

Custom Invitations for Your Signing

Invitations to attend will be emailed to HS Staff and Media Contacts several days prior to the signing. A copy of the invitation will be sent to you, and you may forward this to family, friends, or past coaches. 

Important - Media Questionnaire for Your Press Release

Fill out the media form below!

This is to be filled out BY THE ATHLETE and returned to the Athletic Department prior to your athletic signing. We will forward this to our publicist, Peggy Georgi, for the press release. Please fill in all items with as much information as possible! The more information provided, the better their press release will be!

Don't wait until the last minute to fill out your form. Students must be signed in with their school email address to complete the form.

How to Complete and Submit Your Form
